2 lb Ground beef (turkey, bison or chicken will work as well)
1/2 cup Olé Avocado
4 slices Monterey Jack Cheese, cut in quarters (any cheese would work!)
Pickled jalepeño slices (optional)
2 tsp seat salt
2 tsp course black pepper
8 Hamburger Buns
1 Tomato, sliced thin
1 Red Onion, sliced thin
8 Iceberg lettuce leaves (or bagged rinsed salad greens)
Optional- Jalepeño slices (pickled or fresh)
Yeild: 8 Tailgate Burgers
Start grill, then divide the 2 lbs of ground beef in to 16 patties.
Place 1/4 slice of cheese on each side of patty, spoon on 1 -Tbs of Olé avocado on 8 burger patties over cheese.
Sprinkle with salt pepper.
Now place two patties together with cheese and Olé Avocado meeting in center and press down edges with a fork, or press with fingers to seal edges tight.
Salt and pepper both sides of burgers, cook 5 minutes on med high grill.
Burgers will be medium well with a delicious creamy cheese avocado filling.
Serve on buns with garnish!
